House of Heroes: Lovesick Zombie (Single)
Gotee Records has got to be one of my favorite record companies. They always know who to sign and it seems like they can see into the future and know that certain bands are going to be amazing. In the past they have had artists like B. Reith, Family Force 5, Grits, and John Reuben. Right now their roster includes Relient K, Jamie Grace, Abandon Kansas, Stephanie Smith and House of Heroes. I always love everything that comes from Gotee and HOH is no exception. I read a quote by House of Heroes where they were talking about how they wanted to make a song for a holiday other than Christmas so they decided on Halloween. I wish more Christian artists would come out with Halloween songs just because all the ones that are out there right now are really good. The other really good one I can think of is Eleventyseven's "Flashlight (The Cullen Song)." House of Heroes' "Lovesick Zombie" is not my favorite HOH song, and is definitely an acquired taste. The first time I listened to it I was not a huge fan of it, but after a couple times I have quickly grown to love it. House of Heroes knows how to create great music, and even though I am not a huge fan of Halloween I love this song. I cannot wait for their upcoming album (which I have heard they have started recording). If you like rock or alternative rock then you will definitely love this song. Even if you like punk rock you will like this one, because it is a little more punk than HOH usually does.
